Yogurt at 10,000 feet

We took the scenic route from Colorado to Wyoming, via Estes Park and the Trail Ridge Road. The road summit is 12,183 feet with snow banks along the edges and herds of Elk roaming. We stopped for a lunch break on the way up and Zane downed a whole yobaby of yogurt, after which we went for a short hike. The elevation seemed to buoy his spirits, as did all of the dogs we met. After leaving the peak he fell right to sleep.

The rest of the trip out of Colorado was long and barren of people. We finally had to stop and stretch our legs and keep everyone from losing their mind. Zane does well on car trips, but after exhausting all of his toys, taking a long nap, snacking, and babbling he eventually insists on a real break outside the car.
