Versa-Stroller

One of the most useful items on the trip is this hand-me-down stroller. It doubles as a car seat and is approved for use on an airplane. For Zane’s first flight we took advantage of a $99 companion ticket special and got him his own seat. This is good for a couple of reasons: he gets to luxuriate in his own airplane seat and just as importantly he has his own quota of check-in and carry-on luggage.
It looks a lot like a living room recliner on wheels.

Looks like it might be heavy—no?

Not too bad at all. The front wheel assemblies are getting a little worn out from years of use. In fact it just got back from a trip to Australia with Dennis and his family.

It was light enough for me to pick up the whole thing with the baby and carry it over those funky anti-cow walking barriers. I could also carry it easily across a small patio. Not heavy at all.
