Unstoppable Force of Nature
At this point in childhood development the only “child safety” device that still seems to be working are the door knob protectors. Gates are for climbing and swinging. We put one in front of the tv to keep curious hands off all of the buttons and he merely shimmies behind it, messing with the buttons or making an impromptu fort. Ah, well, I’ll just lay it down over here on the floor so he’ll ignore it.
Right.
Oh, and since climbing up on the changing table isn’t challenging and dangerous enough Zane’s been improvising.
That is sooo adorable… in a scary kind of way. How did he get down? I assume he had some help.

Yeah, we go in there immediately, and lower the whole hamper/child combo down to bed or floor. He, of course, laughs with pure enjoyment! The only way FOR ME to stop the whole thing, is to toss the hamper out. Jerry, it seems, has solved it another way.

As of today (1/10/10) his room no longer has: changing table, bookshelves, hamper, diaper pail, towel rack, or much of anything else.
