Zane graduated to the next size of car seat a few weeks back. This is a seat that stays in the car, which means we no longer have a portable car seat to restrain him in as we get ready to leave or return to the house. Not that long ago we could sit him down and he’d be occupied, but these days he takes off like a giggly cockroach. Standing up is the new sitting. He’s stable enough that we don’t really worry about him toppling over and the main benefit is that he’s slower at cruising and easily fascinated by whatever he’s standing next to.
I realize that this too shall pass.
Tink appears to like the setup as well, he’s less excitable and has one fewer hand to grab with.
