Yesterday Zane and I had our six month dental cleanings. He went first. Nine in the morning and he’s nothing but a walking fuzz head of questions. Why you have that? Where’s the balloon? What’s that thing do? His questions and curiosity didn’t really end when his mouth was open and the dental assistant was trying to clean. He was playing with her magnifying glasses, wondering why she wasn’t wearing them. Poking at the probes (that were in turn poking at his teeth) and so on. We made it through the whole ordeal, no feelings hurt and no real trauma. Then it was my turn, which meant Zane had to entertain himself, which meant we tried to keep him in the room but away from all of the equipment. Eventually I had to hand him the iPhone to keep him busy with Angry Birds. I’m not sure what parents did before angry birds came along…
