Ladder of Success

For all of the time he spends on this rig Zane doesn’t really slide down it anymore. He seems to mostly use it to get a higher view of the surroundings, a change of perspective. He can look out across the vast spaces of the family room, upon his family, and smile in the knowledge that life is wonderful, his belly is full of food and mommy milk, Dad’s still in the room, and a raspberry at this elevation sounds as wonderful as it does in the lowlands.

But mostly it puts him in range of the dvd player…
