That’s what’s left of our 2-2.5 feet of snow: it got rained on, frozen, and then a couple small snow storms afterwards. The temperature was edging down around Zane’s age so we bundled him up extra well before setting off to explore the frozen tundra. Frankly what he really wanted to do was to explore the junk in the garage.
Here’s the Arctic Explorer sporting the latest in carrot-nosed snowman hats. His uncle Kirk knitted the hat as a Christmas present. A wonderful followup to last year’s hat. Where last year’s hat was a bit small this one is a little on the big side. Not a problem if you put it on over a hood!
