I'm crawling backwards for Christmas

Lest you were worried, after seeing him standing in yesterday’s post, that all Zane does is stand around, loitering, here’s some crawling action from last night. I put him down on the kitchen floor and away he went…backwards. Faith put him on his “belly time” mat while we ate and he proceeded to back right on out of that and across the floor a couple feet.

I mean, who wants to crawl forward through all of that drool?

His backward approach to mobility isn’t limited to crawling. There’s a little walker in the family room and what little time he’s spent in that contraption (not on his list of favorites) sees him walking/hopping backwards.

BTW, happy belated birthday to Aunt JJ from Zane and all of us!
