Try to look at the photo without thinking the bib corner is an ear…
Zane taking command and control of his life. “Hey, give me that milk dispensing device and stand aside!“ Still, he didn’t write his numbers down afterwards, meaning Faith and I get to keep our jobs. Unlike other times when he’s held the bottle for a few seconds, this time he grabbed it from me and fed himself for a couple of minutes.
He’s also been practicing his words, or consonants, or vowels, or something like that. Faith started working on a few and I’ve been coaching him on the all-important da-da. Just in the past day or two he’s started letting out with long strings of practice consonants followed by what seems to be real words. There’s been some momma and some dada and some delegates, delegates, delegates. These, along with his pterodactyl calls (which have been going on forever), and a loud exclamation that has yet to be classified, have us thinking we’ll let him answer the phone during the next flurry of election polls.
Oh, and lest I not forget: Happy Birthday to Uncle Chris!
