Fuzzy Buddy

Mr. Chirps slept from 7:30 to midnight and from 12:30 to 5am last night. Woo hoo!
We were video chatting with my sis and Zane started getting a little fussy. Then, as I moved him around a bit, he started crying the hungry-cry. Indeed: I fed him 60ml, he stretched and wiggled a while and then ate another 80ml within the hour. It wasn’t much longer before he zonked out for the night.
His new fun thing to do is stand up. I hold him under his arms and lift a little ways and he shoots his feet straight out and puts his weight on them. Then he juts his chest out and raises his head as best as he can and just stands there slightly swaying. His arms go out to the side just a bit which gives him the overall appearance of a professional muscle man.
This is by FAR my absolute favorite picture so far of baby Zane! What a cute little smile! :o)

Thanks Susan, it is a great smile. He smiles a lot but I don’t generally get it in a picture because I’m hovering over him with a big camera and flash unit and he gets all interested and serious.
I ran across a photography forum that suggests modifying a PEZ dispenser (bright colored one) to mount to the top of the camera when photographing kids, but I suspect Zane might not understand “PEZ.”

Yeah, probably not at this age, but try something with noise…maybe a little squeeky toy or something? That’s what we used to get my daughter to smile for our pictres. Also something bright at his age would work great too I’m sure! It is a great smile, I have to agree with you there! :o)

The PEZ idea is a good one. They come with all kinds of bright faces that would surely captivate him for a while.
