Ok, truth be told he still tends to address the world and the objects upon it with his fists, which I figure is good practice for the coming Winter months when he’ll be in mittens (or socks: depends on the parent). He unclenches his fist in times of thumb and finger sucking, grabbing parental clothing or hunk of hair, and during his big stretchy stretch in the morning. Conversely he’s very good at making a fist when I am trying to slide his arms through an outfit sleeve, in fact he seems to be actually helping out.

That can’t last.
