Bouncing Back

Starting to bounce back from being sick with more energy and a better appetite.

Oddly, he’s also developed an aversion to summer camp. He no longer wants to go, says his teachers don’t like him and he doesn’t like them anymore. Faith reasons it’s because he got sick in class and is maybe embarrassed or misread their reaction. Hard to say. In an attempt to make going more appealing I offered to bike him in this morning, which he enjoyed, but he also fought (and cried) against going every step of the way way, from when he first woke up to when I was trying to leave after dropping him off. Over the years I’ve seen pretty much all of the kids have a phase where they just didn’t want to go anymore, but had been surprised that it never seemed to happen to Zane. Never say never, I guess.
