4 1/2 Years Old!

When you are this young even a half birthday is a big milestone. A half year between four and five is 1/9th of his life, right? Apparently he sensed this and decided to sleep in late and then just lay in bed after his mom came in to open the shades. Almost twelve hours of sleep, or at least of laying in bed. Ah, to be young!

Yesterday after school he, Raz, and I went for a hike in our woods. We haven’t done that in a while. He wasn’t sure that he wanted to do it, saying that the trees without leaves are “creepy trees”. I think he decided that from some halloween shows or stories. But we did ok and after a while he joined me in knocking off the old skinny branches from the pines.
